Education, Collaboration and Restoration

Practical knowledge

Our world class research and educational programs will link traditional knowledge, culture and local heritage with leading scientific research and applied practices, focused on solutions to restore our ecosystems to full function.

Collaborative facilities

Our innovative facilities will support collaboration in a variety of forms. An Environmental Centre will house solution providers, not-for-profit organizations, and educational programs. A vibrant Outreach Network of local cultural & ecological facilities will foster public engagement, research, cultural heritage preservation, community development and eco-tourism.

Oceangoing Vessels such as our 130' MV Tyee Princess will facilitate restoration, floating classes, research, eco-tourism and more.

Restoration results

All of our programs and activities are focused on effective, hands-on solutions to overfishing, pollution and habitat loss.
